UFO Above Bremen Airport Disrupts Flights And Leaves Police Stumped

Flights were disrupted at a German airport after an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) appeared on radars.

One flight was cancelled, one was diverted and other delays occurred after the UFO drifted onto screens at Bremen Airport on Monday.

It appeared several times between 4.30pm and 9.30pm, Euro News reports.

Bremen Police were notified and a helicopter was dispatched, though it was unable to locate the UFO.

A spokesman for German Air Traffic Control told the Weser Kurier: “It had normal lights, red and green and an approach light on both sides.”

The Local quotes Dominique Höber as saying the object passed over his house 4 times, flying at between 100 and 200 metres.

Literature on the Bremen Police website says the UFO was also observed by a patrol car crew.

The force is asking for witnesses to come forward and is appealing for any photographs or footage, which may have been taken of the incident.

The "metallic cigar/ rugby ball like" object passed within a few feet of the A320 Airbus and has still not been identified.
