Katherine Jenkins Debuts New Dark Blonde Hair As She Returns To Original Record Label

Katherine Jenkins went back to her roots in more ways than one as she debuted her new hair on Twitter on Monday.

After much speculation, the opera singer has re-signed with her first record company Decca - the classical arm of Universal.

Announcing the news on Twitter, along with a snap which showed her new dark blonde 'do, she wrote: "Going back to my roots... Musically! #NewRecordDeal #Announcement #Decca."

Katherine parted ways with her former label Warner Bros in May last year, amid rumours she was dropped over "diva demands" and poor album sales, having signed a £5.8 million deal in 2008.

The singer was awarded an OBE in the Queen's New Year Honours List.
