As Dermot O'Leary prepares to present the 19th National Television Awards on Wednesday, we run through the things you can expect from British TV's version of the Oscars.

The ceremony will be broadcast live from The 02, London, and will air on ITV from 7.30pm, with the awards voted for by the telly-loving public.
