Did David Cameron Just Curse The Model Maker Hornby In His Davos Speech? (VIDEO)

WATCH: Did Cameron Just Curse British Model Maker Hornby?

David Cameron took to the stage at the World Economic Forum in Davos to trumpet the British businesses moving their operations increasingly back to Britain, praising companies like model manufacturer Hornby.

In unfortunate timing for Hornby, the embattled model maker has had to issue a shock profit warning as it said it expects to report a £1m loss for the year to 31 March.

The firm, which owns the Scalextric and Airfix brands, also announced it has agreed a "managed exit" with a major supplier after delays in its supply chain. Hornby's profit warning also sent shares 6% down this morning.

On the plus side, at least, as David Cameron said, Hornby is "bringing back some of its manufacturing from India to Britain".
