"This is a celebration of flawless beauty," said makeup artist Lucia Pica backstage at Roksanda Ilincic's Autumn/Winter 2014 show. What better way to start day four of London Fashion Week?
"Tonal," "super-polished," and "highlighted," were the words Pica used to describe her flawless look. Where did she start? With the eyes.
Pica created a brown-tinted eye with Mac's Cork and Groundwork shades on the eyelids. The skin was was "perfect" with a mix of three Mac blushers in Warm Light, Sculpt and Shape on the cheeks and brows were gelled up and feathered in.
Although the lashes look mascara-free, Pica let us in on a secret. "I've used brown mascara - it doesn't look the models are wearing any but this just gives the lashes some colour," she told us.
The look was finished with Mac Creme d'Nude in Peachstock on the lips for a touch of "peachy glow."
As for the hair, the L'Oreal Professional team created lightly-tousled ponytails accessorised with perfectly positioned headbands.
Sophy Robson left the nails natural and glossy. After all, Roksanda's girls would never want to be overdone.
