15 Pictures Of Fresh Violence As Kiev Descends Into Chaos Again

Violence in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev flared again on Tuesday as thousands of anti-government protestors rioted outside parliament.

Demonstrators threw rocks and set fires, part of continuing protests against the government in Kiev and manoeuvrings by Russia to gain influence in the country.

Police retaliated with tear gas and stun grenades.

The clashes come just two days after protestors and the government reached a fragile truce that saw political activists released from jail and occupied buildings decamped.

President Viktor Yanukovych sparked the protests back in November when he turned down closer cooperation with the EU in return from a bailout from Russia.
