With the Oscars 2014 just around the corner, we can't stop ourselves from hoping and praying that Leonardo DiCaprio will finally get his hands on an Academy Award statue.
The 39-year-old actor has been nominated five times but is yet to enjoy success at the Oscars. (This seems like a bit of a travesty when Cher, as in Cher the singer, has won one!)

And it's not only Cher who's snatched a surprise award. Oprah Winfrey, Nicolas Cage and Elle Woods herself Reese Witherspoon have all managed to bag themselves a win somewhere down the line.
