Nick Robinson's glasses have just broken, leaving the BBC Political Editor potentially sightless as he tries to get his specs fixed.
Robinson confirmed the tragic news in a post on Twitter, writing: "RIP Gucci 2013 - anyone got any superglue?"

The glasses have served him well over the last few months, appearing faithfully alongside him in many editions of the BBC's 10 o'clock News and other Beeb programmes.
