We all know that heart-sinking feeling when you bump into your ex at a party. Unfortunately for Miranda Kerr last night, that ex was movie star Orlando Bloom and that party was the Oscars.
Australian model Miranda was in the middle of giving an interview outside the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party when ex-husband Orland appeared out of nowhere to kiss her on the cheek and ask how she was doing.
He seemed totally unaware that she was being filmed - before hurrying off as the realisation dawned that he was live on very candid camera.
Miranda managed to keep smiling like a pro through the awkward encounter, although her expression brought to mind the old sitcom gag 'your teeth are showing, but your lips are tense'.
The couple were married from July 2010 until October last year, and have a son, Flynn. When they announced their split, their official press release stated: "Despite this being the end of their marriage they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family."
But judging by their super-awkward interaction last night, the pair obviously no longer spend much time at close quarters and we're left wondering how they organise co-parenting Flynn.
Also featured in the video are a parade of other A-listers going from the swish awards ceremony to Vanity's Fair's famous post-Oscar party, some of them having obviously got stuck into the champagne already.
Newly-minted Oscar winner Jared Leto boasted that he was 'gonna have some fun' as Hollywood big-hitters such as Jennifer Lawrence, Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford and Amy Adams streamed in to enjoy the most exclusive Oscar after-party, which Vanity Fair has hosted for a highly restricted coterie of top stars since 1994.
