Susanna Reid has finally spoken out ahead of her impending move from 'BBC Breakfast' to ITV, explaining on Twitter that she "couldn’t turn down the opportunity” to present new show ‘Good Morning Britain’.
The presenter also expressed her sadness at leaving her BBC colleagues, tweeting: “Thank-you for your messages. I'm very excited to be joining Good Morning Britain. I have loved being at BBC Breakfast & will miss the team."

“But as a news journalist & presenter I couldn't turn down this opportunity and a new challenge,” she adds.
‘Good Morning Britain’ will replace ‘Daybreak’ in the channel’s 6.00am to 8.30am slot, with Ben Shephard joining Susanna to co-host the show.
Susanna has reportedly signed a contract which will see her net a whopping £1 million a year, though it’s not all good news for the former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star, who recently confirmed her split from long term partner Dominic Cotton.
Susanna was a no-show on the BBC Breakfast sofa yesterday morning, leaving audiences unsure whether the presenter will appear on the show again.
‘Good Morning Britain’ will start airing weekdays on ITV1 later this year.
