The Only Way Is 'Strictly'?

Mark Wright has revealed that he’s in talks to star in the next series of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ however rumours that he will be joined by fianceé Michelle Keegan have been denied.

While Essex lad Mark has been getting excited about potentially appearing on the show, a spokesperson for Michelle has insisted the former ‘Corrie’ actress won’t be getting her dancing shoes on.

Mark and Michelle have made different choices about appearing on 'Strictly'

“I have had interest from ‘Strictly’ this year and last year,” Mark told The Mirror. “It’s a great show.”

The Mirror also reports that Mark is in 'early negotiations' to appear, adding that a BBC source has stated: “Mark does a lot of work with ITV but he isn’t bound by a contract so could do Strictly if he wanted to."

However Michelle, who recently left 'Coronation Street', won’t be joining her long-term partner on the dancefloor.

“Michelle is a fan of 'Strictly Come Dancing' however there are no plans for her to join the show, she will be concentrating on her acting career in 2014,” a spokesperson told MailOnline.

Since leaving ‘The Only Way Is Essex’, Mark has tried his hand at presenting and currently fronts his own show on ITV2, ‘Party Wright Around The World’.
