The former Girls Aloud star - who looked stunning in an all-black outfit complete with killer heels - was all smiles as she was greeted by fans and paps outside the Arts Club in London.
After months of speculation, Cheryl confirmed on her Instagram page on Monday night that she would be making a comeback as a judge on 'The X Factor' when the show's 11th series kicks off later this year.
Simon Cowell will also be returning to the UK series, after three years of judging the show in America.
The two posed for a picture together once inside the press conference, and looked decidedly more cosy than they did in the picture Cheryl posted online last night where she was pretending to strangle the music mogul.
It's not yet known who will be sitting on the judging panel next to Simon and Cheryl, though it is assumed regular judge Louis Walsh will be joining them as usual.
