'Peppa Pig Taught My Toddler To Use The F-Word'

'Peppa Pig Taught My Toddler To Use The F-Word'
Channel 5

A furious mum claims her toddler daughter has been taught to swear...by Peppa Pig!

Natalie Cox was mystified when two-year-old Kiannah started shouting the words "f*****g gazelles".

It wasn't until Kiannah's older brother sat down to watch the girl's favourite Peppa Pig DVD that she realised her daughter had copied the bad language from the television.

In the episode, named End of Term Party, Grandpa Rabbit is telling Daddy Pig about Peppa's school teacher Madame Gazelle, who used to play in a pop group.

He says the name of the rock band, which is supposed to be the 'Rocking Gazelles,' but Natalie claims it sounds like he is saying the 'F-ing Gazelles.'

Natalie, 30, from Cardiff, said: "I couldn't believe my ears. She kept saying it over and over. Kiannah Cox shouted the words 'f*****g gazelles' - copying what she thought she heard on kids' show.

"I took the children out of the room and put on the DVD. One of the characters clearly says it.

"How on earth did it get past the editors?"But a Peppa spokesman revealed the phrase used was 'Rocking Gazelles', referring to a band.

He added: "Any misunderstanding is unintentional."

(After reading this, I'm off to hide my Status Quo 'Rocking All Over The World' album from my kids!)
