It may lack the sheer speed of the 'Skinner' robot that could solve a Rubik's Cube in under one second, but considering it's made of Lego the Cubestormer 3 is pretty impressive.
Building upon the success of its previous two incarnations, the clever bot managed a time of just 3.253 seconds, beating its predecessor's 5.27 seconds.
The brain of Cubestormer 3 is an octa-core Samsung Galaxy S4 which analyses the puzzle and instructs the arms what to do.

David Gilday and Mike Dobson are the two chaps behind the creation and no doubt they'll be working on an even faster Cubestormer 4 soon.
For reference, the human record is 5.55 seconds so the robots are already ahead
