Over the weekend it was revealed that Education Secretary Michael Gove was a devotee of "chap hop", a buffoonish parody of hip hop in which the words of American rap are belted out with a British middle class intonation.
Gove’s favourite exponent - possibly the only exponent - is a chap called Mr B The Gentlemen Rhymer. He's straight outta Tunbridge Wells... or Wimbledon or who knows where. Regardless, in typical Newsnight form, Paxo signed off the show with a nod to the story. Enjoy the way the old interrogator wraps his lips around the term "chap... hop".
