Ukip: Sahara Rain 'Caused By Last Weekend's Gay Weddings'

Ukip: Sahara Dust Falling On UK 'Caused By Gay Weddings'
PA

The 'Sahara rain' deposit of dust and sand currently falling on the UK has been caused by the first gay weddings taking place in Britain last weekend, says Ukip.

"The high level of air pollution this week is due to a combination of local emissions, light winds, pollution from the continent, dust blown over from the Sahara and gay marriage," a Ukip spokesman told HuffPost UK Comedy.

"If those weddings hadn't taken place at the weekend, we would be enjoying clear skies and unbroken sunshine now," they added. "There's a reason it's called 'dirty rain', you know."

Experts have warned that the high pollution levels are likely to continue until the end of the week, as further hot air emanates from the mouths of anti-gay marriage campaigners.
