'Gogglebox' poshos Steph and Dom Parker could be about to give the likes of Jonathan Ross, Graham Norton and errrm, Alan Titchmarsh a run for their wonga after being offered their own chat show.
The booze-loving husband and wife have been a huge hit with viewers of the Channel 4 show, and now show bosses want to capitalise on their success with a spin off series.
According to The Sun, one idea the couple are considering would see them interviewing celebs at their guest house in Sandwich, Kent.
We have a feeling they may need to stock up their drinks cabinet. Or invest in another.
Also in the running for their own spin-off shows are Brighton-based gay pals Stephen Webb and Chris Steed, pensioners Leon and June Bernicoff and Brixton gals Sandy Channer and Sandra Martin.
A source told The Sun: “We are currently brainstorming ideas with some of the main people in the show about what else can be done with them.
“One of the main ideas is a chat show with a difference, featuring Steph and Dom. They are currently looking at it but feel it would have to be totally right for them before they agree.
“They have their business to run and have a family and while they enjoy being on Gogglebox, they are not chasing fame for fame’s sake."
'Gogglebox' has been a huge hit for Channel 4 with 3million regularly tuning in to watch other people watch the telly.
Earlier this year, Steph and Dom revealed they were even more drunk than they looked on the show. After being contracted to be filmed watching hours of TV they explained sometimes they were drinking "for nearly 13 hours".
Talking about one particularly boozy day, Dom told the Radio Times: "We went out for lunch at 12.30, came back at six and carried on in our normal way.
"We finished filming that night at 1.30am, so we’d been partying for nearly 13 hours. Steph came in a bit too enthusiastically for a kiss and tipped the sofa over."
He added: "It’s lovely to know we’ve made people laugh."
