Katy Perry has dyed her hair "slime green" just in time for summer. And yes, you read that right. The 29-year-old singer took to Instagram on Monday to show off her new dye job... But we're not convinced her part green, part jet black hair will catch on.
No stranger to trying out all colours of the rainbow when it comes to her barnet, Katy's already been pink, blue, purple... And if we're including wigs, she's also tried and tested white, red, yellow and bright violet.
The Instagram sees Katy hiding behind her new locks with her head tilted to the side, just the right angle to show off that pretty Chanel necklace.
Katy has been talking about taking the "slime green" plunge since late last month but was a little worried about what effect it might have on her natural tresses. She told E! News: "'I've wanted to go slime green for a long time.
"It's spring time and I think it's time to freshen up my look. I'm really excited about slime green, but I hope my hair doesn't fall out."
Talking about her new style she added: "I kind of cut my bangs in haste and now I want them gone." Don't we all know that feeling?
Sat in the hairdressers chair and the stylist flippantly exclaims: "How about a fringe? I think a fringe would look really great on you." Next thing you know you've said yes before your brain can catch up and you've got a full-on lego forehead warmer.
