It's all very well hearing about all these graduate programmes, but what's it actually like to be on one? Well you're about to find out.

As part of our new Skills Space section, L'Oreal gave us a sneak peek inside the life of one of their graduate employees, James Wilkinson, a former industrial economics student at Nottingham University. Make sure to check out the rest of our advice, tips and information on Skills Space.

James, who completed the summer internship at the company, has already worked on LOOK magazine, advised on TV adverts and helped make decisions with huge budgets.
