Assassin's Creed 5: New 'Comet' And 'Unity' Details Emerge

New Assassin's Creed 5 Details Emerge From The Shadows

Assassin's Creed 5 - or rather the Xbox 360/PS3 game known as 'Comet' and the Xbox One/PS4 'Unity' - likely won't be out for at least six months.

But already we know a number of key details about the game(s), including their names, their settings and even some pre-announcement footage of the engine at work around the streets of Paris, where Unity will be set.

Now some new details about the game have emerged, in the form of a fresh bevy of rumours.

The first states that the game might look to expand how parkour works in-game, adding side wall running for the first time.

A parkour artist named Jesse La Flair apparently let slid that he had worked on the next game, "and they may or may not have added the ability to Horizontal Wall Run in the game".

Other rumours are covered in the video above, which goes through most of the recent announcements.

Truth is, though, that until E3 we're probably stuck only with the official announcement:

"Qu'ils mangent de la brioche [Let them eat cake]! We have been working on the new Assassin's Creed for more than three years and although we weren't quite ready to show you our full vision for a next-gen only AC, it seems Abstergo are trying to force our hand! So here's a true first look at in-game footage from Assassin's Creed Unity. Stay tuned - we'll have many more exciting details for you in the months ahead!"
