Student Buys Dream Audi R8 With Money Earned From Posting YouTube Videos

A student who lives at home with his parents made enough money from posting videos of fast cars on YouTube to buy his own dream car - a £50,000 Audi R8.

Paul Wallace, from Watford, runs the Supercars of London channel, which has been viewed more than 65m times and generates cash through associated advertising.

Wallace, 23, test drives supercars and posts the videos onto YouTube. In his most recent post, My First Supercar, he proudly presents his purchase with, rather unsurprisingly, a rather large grin on his face.

"I haven't driven this car yet," he admits. "I haven't done any miles in it. I haven't driven an Audi R8 on public roads. This is due to the fact that all dealers have insurance for 25 and over. And I'm 23. The fastest car I've driven on the road is my Vauxhall Astra."

One of Wallace's best performing videos was of a flying Lamborghini Aventador being impounded. Watch the full video below.
