Robbie Williams, Chris Martin Among Top Favourites To Replace Kylie Minogue On 'The Voice UK'

Robbie Williams Favourite To Replace Kylie On 'The Voice'

Robbie Williams has been named as the hot favourite to replace Kylie Minogue on the fourth series of ‘The Voice’ next year.

Kylie revealed on Friday that she won't be returning as a mentor on the next series of the singing show because filming clashes with her ‘Kiss Me Once’ tour, even though producers have previously said they’d be willing to work around Kylie's schedule if she wanted to come back to the show.

With Ricky Wilson, Tom Jones and will.i.am all believed to be staying on as mentors, Robbie joining the show would make it an all-male panel for the first time, with Paddy Power giving 6/1 odds of him joining the show.

Robbie already has some reality TV experience, in past years he’s helped out both Sharon Osbourne and his Take That bandmate Gary Barlow seek out the best talent at the judges house stage on ‘The X Factor’.

Meanwhile other favourites to take over Kylie’s spinning red chair include Jessie J - who mentored on the first two series of the show - and Coldplay singer Chris Martin, whose odds are at 16/1.

Could Chris Martin be stepping in for Kylie?

The most recent series of 'The Voice' was won by Jermain Jackman, although it now looks as though his single could be about to miss the UK top 40 altogether, with his fellow finalist Sally Barker and one of the show's mentors Ricky Wilson all set to chart higher than him with their own releases.
