Assuming this isn't a joke by Jimmy Kimmel - which given the pixel-perfect video and instant viral success it very well could be - this is one of the most astonishing videos ever to hit the internet.
The man pictured is trying to take a selfie. Next to a train track.
(He explained he was trying to do so at a "safe" distance... so that's okay then.)
Unfortunately he was standing just a little too close. What happened next... well, we won't spoil it. But let's just say it's both horrifying and non-fatal - he survived to post the video after all.
