Loch Ness Monster Apparently Spotted In Apple Maps (PICTURES)

Is This The Loch Ness Monster?

Apple Maps, notorious for its unreliability, has apparently solved a mystery that has baffled thousands for centuries.

Hunters of the Loch Ness Monster claim that they found an image of the mythical beast on a satellite image provided by Apple’s iOS Maps, which was something that they didn’t find when they tried looking for it on Google Maps.

Long-famed for its stealthy nature, no concrete evidence of the creature has ever been found.

But now, this image is said to show a creature swimming under water south of Dores, near Inverness.

Mysteriously, the image in the water can only be found on certain iPads and iPhones.

So has Nessie been found at long last? Probably not.

People were quick to point out that the shape in the water has uncanny similarities to the wake from a speedboat.

But Andy Dixon, who discovered the image along with friend Peter Thain, insist the image is the legendary monster.

They told the Daily Mail: "I was trawling through satellite transmissions of different parts of the country and I thought I would try Loch Ness.

"I could see something big under the water and I saved it to my phone. My first thought was that it was the monster and I contacted Gary Campbell of the Official Loch Ness Monster Club."
