The future of smartphones has been pretty easy to predict ever since the launch of the original iPhone in 2007 - thinner, faster, better cameras, repeat.
But the next five years? Well that's a little trickier.
While the top handsets are still getting thinner and faster, that's no longer enough to inspire the same launch-day queues and fervour we used to see a few years ago.
Instead manufacturers are having to think hard about what a next-generation phone or device will really be, and whether the traditional design of a phone is enough anymore.
