PMQs: John Bercow Silences David Cameron, Doesn't Care He Is Prime Minister (VIDEO)

WATCH: Bercow Silences David Cameron

John Bercow has obviously spent the parliamentary recess missing telling off MPs for being too noisy and for taking too long to answer questions.

The Speaker chastised several backbenchers during Wednesday's prime minister's questions, but he reserved his most vicious slap down for the prime minister.

Cameron, who was revelling rubbing Ed Miliband's face in the recent positive economic figures, was taken aback when Bercow cut him short.

"I haven't finished," Cameron pleaded after he was interrupted. The Speaker, stamping his authority on the prime minister replied, "the prime minister has finished and he can take it from me he has finished."

Cameron and Bercow have a history of spats at prime minister's questions. On one occasion the Speaker mocked the prime minister by telling him it was a "good idea to try to remember the essence of question that was put". And there was also that time Cameron made a dwarf joke about Bercow in front of journalists.
