'EastEnders' Spoiler: Shirley's Reunion With Estranged Son Deano Sees Mick Taking Things Into His Own Hands

'EastEnders' Spoiler: Shirley's Reunion With Deano Doesn't Go To Plan

Next week we’ll get to see what happens when you mess with Mick Carter’s (Danny Dyer) family on ‘EastEnders’, as he flies off the handle at his nephew, Deano (Matt Di Angelo).

It was revealed earlier this year that Deano would be returning to the soap to cause trouble in Albert Square after a long period of absence.

Shirley and Deano are finally reunited, after he left Walford six years ago

His mum Shirley Carter (Linda Henry), who hasn’t seen her son for years, is excited when they finally arrange to meet at the Queen Vic, though she’s disappointed when things don’t go like she’d hoped.

Rather than a touching reconciliation, Deano loudly puts his mum down in front of everyone, which pushes her brother Mick to boiling point.

Deano pushes him to breaking point by disrespecting Shirley

When he tries to tell Deano to go easy on his mum, he refuses, pushing Mick to take matters into his own hands and punch his nephew straight in the face.

Meanwhile, we revealed last week that Shirley will hit the bottle after the distressing incident, only for her to bump into Phil Mitchell (Steve MacFadden) in the streets.

When he helps her out after seeing she’s upset, Shirley is seen leaning in for a kiss from Phil… but will he reciprocate?

See Shirley and Deano’s devastating reunion when it airs on Thursday, May 15 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
