Florida Man Wants To Marry His Laptop Full Of Hardcore Porn

There are some things which sound more weird than they really are.

Take humans wanting to marry inanimate objects. It sounds pretty crazy, but actually it turns out that loving relationships between humans and inanimate objects (or rather, in the mind of the living half of that pair) aren't all that rare, and have recently been treated with sensitivity by various documentaries and studies.

Unfortunately it's not always so... straightforward.

In Florida, Chris Sevier has filed a 50-page motion to the 10th US Circuit Court of Appeal because he has been denied the right to marry his laptop in Utah.

Why has he done it? To try and prove that marrying a laptop is the same thing as gay marriage.

He writes: "They discriminated against me when they rejected my request to marry my computer. I approached the Utah clerk to have a marriage licence issued for me and my machine-spouse."

Sevier has previously caused controversy by attempting to sue Apple for allowing him to become addicted to porn.
