Mark Wright Slams 'TOWIE' Ex-Girlfriend Lauren Goodger In Twitter Rant

'Be A Proper Woman And Stop Embarrassing Yourself'

Former ‘TOWIE’ star Mark Wright has hit out at his ex-fiancée Lauren Goodger, begging her to stop talking about him publicly and "move on".

Lauren and Mark dated for 11 years, having started their relationship while they were still at school, and viewers got to see the ups and downs of their romance documented as one of the main storylines in the first few seasons of ‘The Only Way Is Essex’.

Ultimately, the pair chose to call time on their relationship, and Mark has since been linked to fellow ‘TOWIE’ stars Sam Faiers and Lucy Mecklenburgh, as well as ‘Corrie’ actress Michelle Keegan, who he is now engaged to.

However, while Mark might no longer be seeing Lauren, it seems she still knows how to get under his skin judging by the tweets he sent to her this week.

It all started when Lauren posted a screen-grab of a reply she received from a text service that answers any question you ask it on her Twitter page. When she asked, “Who is Lauren Goodger from Loughton?”, the reply came: “Lush Loughton lass Lauren has always been a Goodgerl and made the Wright choice over Mark."

Clearly unimpressed to still be mentioned on his ex’s Twitter page, Mark tweeted back: “It's ridiculous aint it. #STILL.”

Lauren and Mark during their happier days as a couple

It seems Mark was just getting started, though, as he began to lay into Lauren for mentioning him in other tweets, as well as “six weeks of mentioning me in her magazine column”.

Finally he sent out a public plea to Lauren to leave him alone, claiming it was also for the good of his relationship with Michelle, writing:

Not happy with Mark lashing out so publicly, Lauren replied that it wasn’t her who wrote the initial text message that she screen-grabbed, adding the hash-tag: “#MovedOnALongTimeAgo”.

Ouch. Where is Nanny Pat to mediate when you need her?

Mark and his new fiancée, Michelle Keegan

Mark and Michelle are planning to get married next year, in a ceremony that will see his sister Jessica Wrightacting as a bridesmaid.

Meanwhile, Mark recently opened up about the forthcoming nuptials, admitting it would be an emotional day for him and he will be “fighting back tears”.
