Certain movie sex scenes are etched into our memory - the moment where Leonardo Dicaprio draws Kate Winslet "like one of his French girls" in Titanic or when Richard Gere undresses Julia Roberts on the piano in Pretty Woman.
But imagine if these gender roles were swapped - Kate drawing a naked Leo, Julia paying Richard for sex - it would all feel a bit, well, uncomfortable. But why?

Buzzfeed Pop have created the above video showing memorable movie scenes alongside reenactments that switch male and female roles.
The video exposes how accustomed we are to seeing women sexualised and objectified in the media, and how little we question why men aren't treated in the same way.
