A shocking picture posted to Twitter appears to show a small child in a buggy left alone outside a betting shop in Lewisham, southeast London.
The image was posted on Tuesday by user @ashduncs, who wrote, "Only in Lewisham would you see this". The snap was taken on Lee High Road and shows Jennings bookmakers, though it is not known whether the picture was taken on Tuesday.
No parent is present but a child’s arm can clearly be seen from the side of the buggy.
