Coldplay singer Chris Martin has been spotted out and about in New York with model Alexa Chung, just months after his split from Gwyneth Paltrow was announced.
The singer and the British model enjoyed a night out at trendy NYC nightspot Elsa and sources are reporting that the pair seemed pretty cosy.

Speaking to Heat magazine, a source has revealed that Chris and Alexa seemed comfortable together, stating: “When I arrived at about 9.15pm, they were tucked away in in dark corner of the back room of the bar.”
“Chris and Alexa seemed to know each other really well,” the source added. “They were both in a great mood, and even asked us to watch their bags when they went out for a cigarette.”
While Chris wasn’t bothered about being recognised and happily shook hands with a fan who spotted him, Alexa was reportedly reluctant to introduce herself.
“She didn’t really want to talk,” the source added.

Chris and Alexa have known each other for a while and they were spotted spending some time together at Glastonbury Music Festival in 2013.
Chris recently gave his first interview since the split announcement, in which he appeared to hint that he may have instigated the conscious uncoupling.
“If you don’t let love in then you can’t really give it back,” he told Radio 1’s Zane Lowe.
Everyone from Chris’s Dad to Katie Hopkins have voiced their view on the breakdown of Chris and Gwyneth’s marriage, which was announced in March via the actress’s lifestyle website Goop.
