A 5-year-old boy who lost his battle against brain cancer earlier this month was given a superheroes funeral, with six special pallbearers.
Brayden Denton's funeral took place in Kentland, Indiana last week, with the pallbearer’s dressed as Spider-Man, Thor, the Hulk, Superman, Iron Man and Batman.
Speaking to the New York Daily News on Monday, Brayden’s mother Staci said: “The whole time I saw them carrying Brayden he was probably up there going, 'This is so cool’. That was his world. That's what he would have wanted.”
According to his mother, Brayden had been fighting an aggressive form of brain cancer called DIPG, undergoing 30 rounds of radiation treatment. Throughout the treatment, the young boy was helped by his love of superheroes.
