Madonna and Katy Perry have teased a forthcoming joint photo shoot for V magazine on their respective Instagram accounts.
The two divas sparked rumours of a collaborative shoot when Katy posted a photo on her page where she was lying on her front in a bondage-inspired leather dress.

Her ultra-glam photo also saw her reaching for an unseen woman wearing high-heels, with the message “Katy Perry… and guess who?” above her head.
She sparked rumours it might be Madonna when she captioned the photo with a line from her 1994 single ‘Secret’, writing: “Mmmmm my baby's got a secret… @vmagazine.”
Madonna then uploaded a similar picture to her own Instagram page, this time where she reached for an unseen woman while crouching on all-fours - while another unidentified woman is pictured holding a leather strap - with a message above her head reading: “Madonna… and guess who?”

Both photos suggested the photo-shoot will be published in V magazine later this year, more specifically on Memorial Day, which falls on May 26 this year, so fans won’t have long to wait before they see the two pop icons in action together.
In fact this isn’t the first time the two stars have crossed paths, as even before the release of her debut single ‘I Kissed A Girl’ in 2008, Madonna had gushed about Katy on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, telling the presenter she couldn’t stop listening to her song ‘Ur So Gay’.
Meanwhile, when Madonna uploaded her picture she added the hashtag “#unapologeticbitch” which, along with “#rebelheart”, have been appearing a lot on her Instagram page, particularly in conjunction with her forthcoming new album, prompting some fans to speculate they could be the names tracks on her new release.
She is currently in the studio working on the follow-up to 2012’s ‘MDNA’, and has so far worked with the likes of Avicii, British singer/songwriter Natalia Kills and MoZella, who co-wrote ‘Wrecking Ball’ for Miley Cyrus.
