“Oh f*cking hell,” said Sky News chief political correspondent Jon Craig as Big Ben sounded up during a pre-recorded piece to camera about the European elections.
No doubt the able hack went on to record a seamless version of his report, devoid of clock chimes or expletives. Unfortunately, Sky broadcast the earlier piece, followed by the mandatory look of dismay, apology and a quick push into the next segment.
