'TOWIE' Star Mario Falcone Plans To Quit ITV Series: 'I'm Ready To Settle Down'

'I'm Getting Bored Of 'TOWIE' To Be Honest'

Mario Falcone has revealed that he’s planning to leave ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ at the end of the next series, claiming he’s ready to find love and settle down.

Mario, who joined the third series of ‘TOWIE’ in 2011 as a potential love rival for Mark Wright, has said that although he’s had a lot of fun in the docusoap, he’d now like to move forward and pursue other avenues.

"I've had my fun and had a great time with my friends doing all the stuff boys should do at a young age but now I'm ready to settle down and find the right person.”

Since making his ‘TOWIE’ debut, Mario has been romantically linked to a number of his castmates including Lauren Pope and Chloe Sims, though it was his tumultuous relationship with Lucy Mecklenburgh that really had viewers gripped.

The two broke up and got back together more times than Nanny Pat served up sausage platters during their time on the ITV2 series, with Lucy eventually moving on and quitting ‘TOWIE’ in 2013.

Mario, who originally trained as a tailor, also told Reveal he has “a few other business ideas” and other ventures he’d like to focus on.

He isn’t the only ‘TOWIE’ star who’s waving goodbye to the Sugar Hut, though, as Sam Faiers revealed earlier this year that she was taking a break from the series so she could focus on her newly rekindled relationship with Joey Essex, as well as her health after being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease.
