Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s first kiss as man and wife has become the most ‘liked’ photo in Instagram history.
It may have only been uploaded on Tuesday, but the photo has now received over 1.96 million ‘likes’, making it the most popular photo since the photo-sharing app was launched in 2010.
The photo shows the newly married Kim and Kanye, both dressed to the nines and looking glamorous in Givenchy, sharing their first kiss as a married couple.
Kim and Kanye married in a lavish ceremony in Florence last weekend, attended by celebrities like John Legend and Jaden Smith, as well as Kim’s family including her mum, Kris Jenner and sisters Kendall Jenner and Khloe Kardashian.
Notably absent from the guests was her brother, Rob Kardashian, as was Kanye’s ‘Watch The Throne’ collaborator Jay Z and his wife Beyoncé.
Lana Del Rey performed her single ‘Young and Beautiful’ at the star-studded event, which she says she did for free as a favour to the happy couple.
However anyone hoping to get a glimpse of the ceremony will be disappointed to hear that an Instagram photo is about as close as we’re going to get, as the couple decided not to film the ceremony for Kim’s reality series ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’.
She confirmed on her Instagram page earlier this month that while the run-up to the wedding would be aired on the show, they didn’t want to share every aspect of their special day with the world.
The couple are now enjoying their honeymoon in Ireland, and have been spotted going to the cinema together not once but twice.
