Kylie Minogue Reveals The Secret To Her Enviable Figure - A Little Bit Of Pilates

At 46, Kylie Minogue has a figure most women would envy - no matter what their age. But what is her secret to that pert derrière, teeny waist and muscular back?

"I wish I was one of those women who do their exercises first thing in the morning, or go straight to the fitness studio," she said, according to Mail Online.

"But I'm just not that disciplined. Yes, I do Pilates - but I don't overdo it."

If you think Pilates is just about getting rock-hard core muscles, you're wrong.

Yes, Pilates is about strengthening abdominal muscles, but it is also designed improve balance, posture and flexibility.

"Anyone can do Pilates and at any age," says Georgie Kennington, Pilates instructor at Pi Studio and Cannes Pilates.

"I've worked with lots of different people from an 80-year-old to those with chronic back pain. As long as you have a well-informed instructor who gives you the correct exercises and leaves out the ones you shouldn't do you are in safe hands."

She says that in addition to countless physical benefits -- tackling back problems, improving physique and increasing circulation -- Pilates can improve concentration and increase energy levels.
