At 46, Kylie Minogue has a figure most women would envy - no matter what their age. But what is her secret to that pert derrière, teeny waist and muscular back?

"But I'm just not that disciplined. Yes, I do Pilates - but I don't overdo it."

If you think Pilates is just about getting rock-hard core muscles, you're wrong.

"Anyone can do Pilates and at any age," says Georgie Kennington, Pilates instructor at Pi Studio and Cannes Pilates.

"I've worked with lots of different people from an 80-year-old to those with chronic back pain. As long as you have a well-informed instructor who gives you the correct exercises and leaves out the ones you shouldn't do you are in safe hands."
