Let's face it, volunteering looks great on your CV, but may not always be the most attractive option. Unless you're working with adorable little bundles of fur, that is.
So it's pretty good timing that Guide Dogs is on the hunt for thousands of new student volunteers throughout the UK as part of Volunteers' Week in June.
Students who miss their family pets while living in halls might find volunteering as a ‘free runner’ the job for them. By taking a guide dog for a walk for its owner, you’ll get in a doggy date while also helping the charity.
