This is the Ariel Atom police car, and as you can see, it looks utterly brilliant.
Blurring the line between a neon bat car and a Formula 1 car this is Ariel's latest model, the Atom 3.5R which means it can go from 0-60mph in just 2.5 seconds and weighs just 200kg more than a Harley Davidson.

Of course in order to catch those criminals the Atom has been decked out in the all important police livery as well as being fitted with menacing nose-mounted blue lights and a conventional police pursuit light on top.
Sadly this won't actually be pulling anyone over but it does exist for good reason as Ariel has teamed up with Avon and Somerset constabulary to promote its Safe Rider campaign.
The campaign is hoping to drastically cut the number of motorcycle deaths in the UK.
Despite making up only 1 per cent of all drivers in the UK, motorcyclists make up nearly 20 per cent of all road user deaths.
