Manchester United's season ended four weeks ago and today they have announced their first summer signing: Cho-A Pharm.
Cho-A Pharm is the club's "Official Pharmaceuticals Partner in Korea and Vietnam", taking United's commercial partners up to an astonishing 36.
United have excelled in tying up surreal partnerships in recent years, and already boast an official noodles partner, as well as an official tyre partner.
The timing, however, is rather embarrassing and will pile the pressure on executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward. United's amateurish summer transfer window last year contributed heavily to their worst season in 25 years, and supporters are demanding an overhaul of a stagnant squad.
The expectation was United would conclude the majority of their transfer business before the World Cup began, however with three days until the finals begin they are yet to sign a single player.

Former manager David Moyes had worked on a number of deals, which included the Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos, however the Scot's replacement, Louis van Gaal, is not interested in the German and Cesc Fàbregas nor William Carvalho will move to Manchester this summer.
Southampton left-back Luke Shaw should join United, although that is likely to be announced after England's World Cup campaign ends. Van Gaal wants to bring Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels to Old Trafford and United could also make moves for Juventus' dynamic midfielder Arturo Vidal and Kroos' teammate Bastian Schweinsteiger.
