Dappy Booed By Angry Fans At Isle Of Wight Festival After Arriving Late, Leaving Stage After Just Three Songs

Why Were Dappy Fans So Upset This Weekend?

Dappy was met with a frosty reception from fans when he was 15 minutes late to take to the stage at the Isle of Wight Festival over the weekend, and was greeted with a shower of boos as he kicked off his performance.

The N-Dubz star and ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ runner-up also shamed one member of the festival crowd who was holding up a “F*** Dappy” sign, demanding that everyone around turn and stare at them, according to The Mirror.

Although he was originally intended to perform a 40-minute set, Dappy eventually left the stage after just ten minutes, giving him time to perform just three of his hits, which he claimed was due to technical difficulties.

He’s kept completely schtum on social media since his brief performance, which is fairly out of character for someone who loves Twitter as much as Dappy, the man so enamoured with the Twittersphere he even has a hash-tag permanently etched on his face.

Dappy is currently gearing up to release his forthcoming second album, his first release since his solo debut ‘Bad Intentions’ reached the top ten in the UK album charts back in 2012.

It will also mark his first musical output since finishing in second place behind comedian Jim Davidson on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ earlier this year, and it’s thought the album will contain a track dedicated to his former ‘CBB’ housemateLuisa Zissman.

However, Luisa is insistent that there’s nothing romantic between the two of them, and recently revealed that although the two gave an interview shortly after leaving the reality show where they claimed to be “in love”, they were actually just in it for the money.
