'Watch Dogs' is a fine game, though not a particularly ground-breaking one. Had it just been released with no fanfare, it would probably have won lots of fans and then quietly moved towards a sequel.
The problem is that when originally revealed at E3 in 2012, it looked... well, different. Like, two generations of hardware better, different. The final product looked nowhere near as graphically special as the original trailer.
Thanks to a bunch of dedicated PC gamers, however, we now have something close to the original back. Members of this forum, using a bunch of PC mods, enhancement software and other tricks, boosted the game back to something approaching the original video. They have also found a number of effects apparently left out due to bugs, and put them back in.
