It's one of life's great mysteries. Can fast food restaurants make food that looks like - or even remotely resembles - the images plastered all over their advertising?
Before we saw this video by Mediocre Films we'd have put a year's salary on "no way Jose". However, one man set out to prove maybe - if you just ask for something a little more polished - you'll probably get it. And guess what? Prove it, he did.
Visiting fast food joint after fast food joint, this guy found the burgers, tacos, etc he's served look absolutely nothing like their glossy advertisement alter egos. Surprise, surprise.
However, unlike the rest of us who tend to find ourselves mute at the prospect of complaining in a restaurant (even if it is just a Maccy's) this guy decided to speak up.
Watch the video here:
Heroically taking it upon himself to right this fast food wrong, he boldly asks servers to prepare him something that actually resembles the images in their ads.
And it actually seems to work. Who'd have thought it?
So next time you order a Big Mac and it comes looking like its spent the best part of a week sweating down the back of a radiator, raise your head high and ask them to rustle you up something more appetising.
