There must be something in the North American water at the moment.

A few days ago, we posted this video of a black bear who got too-close-for-comfort to a pair of Canadian joggers.

And now, this: the encounter Drew Hamilton had with a brown bear at a riverbank in the McNeil River State Game Sanctuary And Refuge in Alaska.

Fortunately, Hamilton works at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, so knew what he was doing when faced with such a mighty beast. That said, he does work in the tech department...
