If Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh really are feuding behind the scenes of ‘The X Factor’, they’re doing a jolly good job of hiding it in this new photo taken during a break from the audition process.
Rumours have been circulating for a while that the pair aren’t getting on, with Simon Cowell saying earlier this year that Cheryl had been against Louis returning to the panel.

This week it was even claimed that Cheryl had refused to sit next to him at the judges’ table, leaving new recruit Mel B to act as a buffer in case any squabbles occur.
However, the two looked to be getting on well in this photo, which Mel B posted on her Instagram page along with the caption: “Yippee bring it.”

The judges are currently in Manchester for the first round of auditions, and although Mel is reported to have told Simon straight that she isn’t on the panel to cause any drama with Cheryl, that doesn’t appear to have stopped Louis trying to wind them up.
A source told The Mirror: “A girl group were one of the first into the auditions and Louis stirred things up straight away by asking if they preferred the Spice Girls or Girls Aloud.
“Louis was giggling because he knows everything won’t stay harmonious the whole way through and they will have differences.”
‘The X Factor’ will be returning to screens later this year, and while Dermot O’Leary is back to host the main show, spin-off series ‘The Xtra Factor’ has a new presenter at the helm with Sarah Jane Crawford who has replaced Caroline Flack.
