Drunk Man Tries To Move Aligator, Unsurprisingly Gets Bitten

What do you do if you come across an 11-foot alligator blocking traffic?

Well, if you've had a couple of drinks you take off your shirt, try and subdue it by covering its eyes and then drag it out the way.

Unsurprisingly, Glen Bonin found this method has its drawbacks after he was left needing 80 stitches in his hand from a rather aggressive bite.

Ouch

Bonin, from Louisiana, told KPLCtv: "I've always been the kind of guy who learns the hard way.

"(We) took our shirts off, threw it on his (the gator's) face, and we were going to come from behind it and jump on it... in the process of doing that, it spun around and grabbed my hand seconds before we jumped on it.

"It felt like someone was pulling my arm out. I thought I was about to lose something. It felt like it lasted forever."

The bite has left Bonin with a wonky ring finger and pinky but he hopes physio will correct this.

In the video it can be seen he was lucky not to have suffered more serious injuries - or even death.

Bonin said: "Definitely fortunate, God was watching over me."
