Middleton speaks to Today's Matt Lauer and reveals what it's really like to be Kate's sister in the two-part interview due to be aired in full on 30th June.

Lauer tweeted the picture below after chatting to Pippa in the most British of settings - a sunny garden complete with afternoon tea.

Pippa has recently returned from a 3,000 mile cycle across the U.S. with her brother James and in the preview clip above, she jokes about making Lauer travel all the way over to London just to see her.

"I hate to say it but I was actually in America last week," she says before adding, "I was on my bike."

Earlier in June, Pippa could be seen dressed in patriotic sports tops, bearing the British flag and a logo for her cycle team's chosen charity - the British Heart Foundation.

Before the epic race across 12 US states began, the bike race organiser, Rick Boethling, described as "a tough cookie."

With another sporting challenge on her agenda - Pippa is swimming 6.5km in the Bosphorus Cross-Continental Race later this year - we couldn't agree more.
