The body of a teenager who went missing shortly after expressing concerns about failing her A-levels has been found in the woods close to her home, it has been confirmed.
Amy Latham, a student at Queen Elizabeth's Scool in Wimborne, Dorset, disappeared on Monday after her family said she had been "very upset".
Her father Graham made an appeal on Tuesday for his daughter's safe return, saying: "I just want you to get in touch with us, we won't be angry, we just want you back."
However late on Tuesday evening, a message uploaded on to a Facebook page created to help find the 18-year-old read:
Tributes have started pouring in for the teen, with Pippa Hendricks writing: "From your extended family and friends in Australia, we can't tell you how sorry we are to hear of your news... All our thoughts are with you, and we hope your memories and happiness with Amy will remain with you from now on."
Amy took to Twitter a few weeks before her disappearance to voice her concerns about the lack of revision she had done for her exams.
